Just in time for the holidays. Will Bynum a professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons who is also a Chicago native, saved Thanksgiving. He reached out to help Clara’s Place, (also know as Clara’s House) a struggling shelter for battered women and children located in englewood.
Clara’s place has been struggling for a very long time but it seems that now others are stepping up and pitching in to help a staple in the englewood community.
Will Bynum presented Clara’s place with a Check for $2500.00 to pay the electric bill and he also provided thanksgiving dinner. But, the most important thing he gave was his support. Sometimes all we need to do is support those that we want to see succeed and then others will support them as well.
Clara’s House is going to need continued support. As long as there are women and children who need shelter and food Clara’s House will need you.
