I didn’t want to believe it. I really didn’t but atlas, it is true. Michael Jordan’s daughter Jasmine Jordan is OUT. Her tweets and photos confirm the rumors although her “coming out”  statement seemed a little vague. It really isn’t my place to feel any type a way about someones sexual preference unless I was mislead or manipulated in some way. This is a sign of the times I guess. Many of the youth growing up today have this “freedom of sexuality” thing that just wasn’t so years ago.

No doubt, we all just want to live our lives and be happy. That’s understood and should be respected no matter what career, religion, lifestyle or sexual preference we may choose. We are all living our lives figuring things out for ourselves. I don’t know what led to this relationship although is pretty clear that may women express an intimacy and bond with other women that they cannot find with men. I assume the same is true for Jasmine Jordan who previously dated men. I truly hope that this decision was made with a clear head and a clear heart and was not based upon some failed relationship with a “boy” who has yet to discover who he is or what he “should” want.

One thing is clear as shown in the tweet below Carmen is her sunshine. The one she loves.
