Glo: Bernie Mac Foundation fourth annual toy drive
President of the Bernie Mac Foundation Rhonda McCullough-Gilmore
The Bernie Mac Foundation founded by Comedian and Chicagoan Bernie Mac is spreading some holiday cheer this Christmas with it’s 4th annual toy drive. The foundations president, Bernie Mac’s widow, Mrs. Rhonda McCullough- Gilmore is keeping Bernie Macs legacy alive and bringing awareness to the disease that claimed his life, Sarcoidosis.
Rhonda McCullough met with fans, family and supporters December 7, 2013 at River Oaks Shopping Center in Calumet City, to accept toy donations for Christmas.
The Bernie Mac Foundations is still accepting unwrapped toys at F.O.G. Cosmetics in River Oaks Center (near JC Penny) until December 16, 2013.
More information about the Bernie Mac Foundation is available on their website here.
This foundation also has a kids program called Uncle Bernie’s Kids which was developed to deliver positive messaging to youth within the Chicago land area. The goal of this program is to build their self-esteem and motivate them to achieve personal and academic success.
Please show your love, support and appreciation for Bernie Mac, a true Chicagoan with a facebook like on the foundations fan page.
In the video below Rhonda McCullough- Gilmore speaks about the Star Sarcoidosis clinic named in Bernie Macs honor.
